No-Cost Therapy Sessions Available to Aurora Students

No-Cost Therapy Sessions Available to Aurora Students

Indian Prairie School District received a $10,000 grant from the City of Aurora to provide free after-school therapy sessions to Indian Prairie families who reside in the City of Aurora limits. Students may access up to six (6) no-cost 50-minute therapy sessions. The sessions will take place Tuesday evenings from November 4 through December 16, 2025, at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm at Granger Middle School. All Indian Prairie families that reside within the city limits of Aurora are eligible - simply drive your child(ren) to Granger Middle School where the sessions will take place.

Independent, licensed therapists (not employees of the school district) will offer confidential, one-on-one therapy sessions for students or families experiencing anxiety, grief, depression, or other behavioral-health concerns. All sessions are strictly confidential between the therapist and the student and/or family and will not be shared with anyone at the school district.
