Contacting TeachersAll staff members have telephones and voice mail. We ask you to review the following guidelines when you place a direct call to any teacher: Teachers work hours are 8:15 until 3:50 daily. You may be able to reach teachers in their classrooms between 8:15 A.M. and 8:45 A.M. In the event that the teacher is not available to answer the phone, your call will go to the teacher’s voice mail box and you may leave a message. You may also choose to push the 0 (operator) button to be redirected to the principal’s secretary. Please do not leave an urgent or timely message on the teacher’s voice mail as staff members may not have an opportunity to check messages until late in the day or after school. If you choose to call a teacher directly while class is in session, please feel free to do so. The ringers on the telephones are turned off during class session hours, but you will be able to leave a direct message in the teacher’s voice mail box.
