This year Gombert Elementary will once again be partnering with Giftmart Wheatland Community in holding a toy drive to benefit under resourced children in Indian Prairie School District 204! These families come from households in financial stress who may not otherwise be able to afford gifts for the holidays. Giftmart is a program that provides families who qualify with a “hand up” during the holiday season. By invitation parents and guardians are invited to a toy shop where they can purchase new toys for only $2.00 per toy. 100% of the proceeds made from the sale of each toy will be donated back to each invited school to fund much needed resources.
Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy that is safe for children ages 4-12. No stuffed animals or board games, please. There will be a Giftmart toy box located inside of the school from November 19th – December 7th.
Thank you for your generosity and participation!
